The HVAC Service Technician position requires a technically trained technician. These technicians must also possess strong problem-solving skills and good communication with Manufacturer Representatives and clients. This is a full-time, year-round position reporting to our HVAC Service Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on products or equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Receive and assess warranty claims submitted by customers or authorized dealers, determining the validity of claims.
- Diagnose technical issues with products or equipment, conducting thorough troubleshooting to identify root causes.
- Coordinate and perform repairs or replacements for defective products or equipment covered by warranty, following established procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and warranty claims, including the nature of the issue, troubleshooting steps, and resolution provided.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to identify recurring issues and contribute to improvements in product or equipment design and manufacturing.
- Keep track of spare parts inventory, ensuring that necessary components are available for repairs or replacements.
- Provide technical support to customers, dealers, or internal teams to address inquiries and concerns related to product maintenance and warranty.
- Ensure compliance with warranty policies and procedures, both internally and in accordance with industry standards.
- Communicate with customers to gather information about issues, explain maintenance procedures, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the warranty process.
SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications may be beneficial.
- Previous experience in maintenance and warranty-related roles.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues.
- Knowledge of product specifications, technical documentation, and warranty terms.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
- Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoor and potentially adverse conditions.
- Physical dexterity and stamina to perform maintenance tasks.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
