Day & Night Air Conditioning & Plumbing, Inc. of Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a full time experienced Residential HVAC Service Manager. Do you have a desire to lead a team? We need someone who can manage their time well, lead and inspire a team and be able to handle a fast-paced environment in a company with many different people and personalities. First year expected compensation $115,000 - $170,000.

Requirements:
Key Tasks and Qualifications
- Have 3+ years relevant leadership experience in the HVAC industry.
- Take ownership of the department and the department’s profitability. You are the driving force for its success!
- Ensure an honest and high-quality customer experience in order to earn customer referrals and promote future growth.
- Oversee your team, looking for training opportunities and ways to help them improve.
- Hold a weekly Service Dept meeting to teach and inspire, address concerns and celebrate successes from the past week.
- Plan for seasonal fluctuations by constantly promoting maintenance agreements and ensuring they are offered to all customers.
- Respond to customer questions and concerns in an empathetic manner.
- Work directly with appropriate office staff to ensure the daily schedule and dispatching is efficient set up to maximize profits.
- Review all Service invoices daily to ensure quality of service and that all procedures are being followed.
- Recruit new technicians as needed while focusing heavily on training current staff.
- Oversee payroll, time-off, employee development, and discipline.
- Conduct regularly scheduled 1:1’s with your technicians
- Spend time in office and in the field. Do regular ride-along's with the technicians. Participate in person with difficult situations or customer service issues.
- Assist leadership with policy creation, pricing, inventory, and other areas as needed to keep the department running smoothly.
- Identify opportunities for growth/improvement and act on them.
- Other duties as directed.
