VSG Commercial Electrical Division is growing and seeks a qualified applicant for the role of Foreman. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years experience in a Foreman role, preferably 10 years. Must have knowledge of commercial installation methods including underground. Must have knowledge and actual experience running work in an commercial electrical environment. Must be adept at the Foreman role and the responsibilities thereof; primarily to create and foster a safe and productive work environment.
Ideal candidate will be experienced with the following voltages and equipment: 208Y/120, 480Y277.
You should also possess good organizational and administrative skills. Your field office is a reflection of how you run your job. Must have basic MS Office computer skills, the more the better. The following should go without saying:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure work meets safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with construction teams to provide accurate electrical construction estimates and schedules
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions
- Install and maintain lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and other electrical devices
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training
- Valid electrician license or certification - ability to obtain NV Electrical Qualification Card
- Proven experience as an electrician in a construction or maintenance setting
- Strong knowledge of NEC and most electrical systems, components, and equipment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Attention to detail and ability to perform quality control inspections
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Must have OSHA30.
