Techs from the following skilled trades transition very easily to our industry : Satellite, cable, data, HVAC, Electrician, construction, plumbing, mechanic, etc. Basically Any trade that required mechanical and/or technical aptitude.
Looking for techs with a positive attitude, good customer service skills, pride in workmanship, and willingness to learn and apply to the field.
Responsibilities:
Technical:
- Installs, disconnects, reconnects, troubleshoots cable TV, internet, telephone
- Uses small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
- Completes paperwork accurately, and reports and records work order status updates
- Complete tasks within time frame and meet performance metric goals
Customer Service:
- Greet customers in the home, be courteous and professional.
- Reviews all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
- Interacts with customers in a professional, courteous manner including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns
- Provide customer education regarding product and service usage
Qualifications:
- Must have a vehicle that you can work out of and carry a ladder on.
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must be available to work weekends as needed
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs
- Ability to carry a 28’ ladder from truck to pole
- Ability to work in tight spaces such as a crawl space of a house
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Overhead lifting, climbing & carrying ladders with a weight of up to 60 lbs
- Working 3- feet above ground level
- Working in enclosed space
- Working in inclement weather
- Walking and climbing, kneeling and crouching
