As such, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of plumbing systems in residential, as well as commercial settings. ## Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential or commercial buildings
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues using appropriate tools
- Read and interpret blueprints to assess layout and plan pipe systems
- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other professionals on job sites
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
## Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of plumbing techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to work in various environments including tight spaces or heights
- Experience with construction estimating and blueprint reading is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with power tools commonly used in plumbing work
- Previous experience as a carpenter, maintenance person, or in field service is beneficial
- Welding skills are advantageous for certain projects
