RLP Mechanical, a reputable mechanical contractor in the Greater DFW area, is seeking a skilled Lead Commercial Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial plumbing installations, running an installation crew and a Texas Journeyman’s Plumbing license.

Responsibilities for the Lead Commercial Plumber position includes:
As a Lead Commercial Plumber, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing our commercial plumbing projects. Your expertise and leadership will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of projects, exceeding client expectations, and upholding our reputation for excellence.
- Overseeing the installation of new commercial / industrial plumbing systems
- Inspecting plumbing installations and equipment to identify potential problems.
- Ensuring all plumbing work is done using the most efficient methods possible.
- Run a installation crew of 2-4 apprentices
- Establishing safety procedures for team
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
Qualification for the Lead Commercial Plumber position includes:
- Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in commercial plumbing, with 2-4 years Lead experience and a proven track record of successfully managing projects.
- Valid Texas Journeyman Plumbing License is required.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate a team.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background check.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
