Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 yrs. experience in HVAC
- Proficient with residential HVAC troubleshooting and repair
- Thorough understanding of the maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems
- Understand electrical, mechanical and control systems
- Must be able to read and understand low voltage schematics
- Professional appearance
- Organized with attention to detail
- Dependable and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
Preferred Education and Experience:
- CFC Card
- History of continuing education in the HVAC industry
Job Functions/Tasks:

- Refer to blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair existing equipment
- Use of diagnostic equipment to identify and address system problems
- Travel to homes as scheduled in their appointment slot
- Perform consultations with customers
- Determine customer needs and discuss all solution methods
- Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity
- Conduct performance tests with specialized tools
- Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues
- Repair damaged HVAC systems
- Offer maintenance agreements to customers
- Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and HVAC resources
- Follow company and industry safety guidelines and regulations
- Clean work area, machines, tools and supplies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
