The Electrician at Ransom Everglades School is a staff position that reports to Director of Campus Planning, Facilities Management and Operations. The scope of the job includes specializing in installing, maintaining and repairing commercial and residential electrical equipment and providing general maintenance knowledge and support as required, and the employee must be willing to provide team leadership as directed. Interior and exterior cleanup in physical emergencies, i.e hurricane situations, is also required of all team members. A maintenance team member will have duties that are outside of their specialty: event setup, unloading trucks, helping a different specialty, like HVAC or plumbing, traffic assistance, assisting RE Faculty/Staff/Students/Parents at a moments notice, or helping a fellow team member with numerous tasks momentarily. Employees of the RE Facilities Department are team players, not individuals. We have a common focus of the immediate need of the school first: safety, asset protection and reputation protection.
