Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise in construction plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC will be essential in ensuring the proper functioning of plumbing systems. Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local plumbing codes and regulations
- Collaborate with construction teams to plan and execute plumbing installations for new construction projects
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify and resolve any issues or potential problems
- Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and HVAC technicians, to ensure coordinated efforts on construction projects
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures
- Test plumbing systems for leaks using air pressure or water pressure gauges
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering any questions they may have
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyperson Plumber license
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques and practices
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
