Tradesmen International is looking to expand our team of qualified Marine Trade Professionals for current & future projects in and around Newport News, VA. Most positions are first shift with a pay range of $27.31/hour based on experience plus Per Diem to qualified Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
- Troubleshoot Electrical Equipment and Circuits using Appropriate Test Equipment to Detect and Effect Required Maintenance, Repairs, or Replacement Requirements
- Perform Maintenance and Repairs of Generators, Switchboards, ,Controllers Circuit Breakers, Electrical Motors, Distribution Panels, Alarm and Lighting Circuits
- Conduct Insulation Resistance Measurements of Electrical Cables to Determine Condition and Effects Repairs or Replacements
- Supervises and Participates in the Installation and/or Alteration to Electrical Systems and Aboard Ships
- Maintain Adequate Inventories of Electrical Spare Parts and Requisitions Replacements
- Maintain Electrical System Maintenance Histories, Notating Date and Extent of Repairs and/or Alterations
Requirements:
- Tools for the Trade
- Proper PPE OSHA 10 is Preferred
