The Electrician Apprentice provides assistance to Master Electrician, Journeyman Electrician, and Maintenance Electrician.
Essential Functions: include the following, other duties may be assigned.
- Changes and performs preventive maintenance on lamps and fixtures;
- Runs temporary cables for shows,
- Counts and receives inventory,
- Maintains cleanliness of electrical room,
- Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment.
Education/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Minimum of three years related experience and/or training
- State of Texas Apprentice Electrician license and meets the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations requirements.
- Listens and gets clarification;

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions;
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Position requires the ability to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear and climb stairs;
- Position requires the ability to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however, during events, the noise level may be loud;
- Position is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions and extreme cold;
- Position is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat.
- Ability to work various shifts in 24/7 facility such as evenings, weekends and holidays.
