Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Installation of fixtures, pull wire, and assist in other duties assigned by the foreman
- Assist with the installation of electrical components and wiring in multi-unit residential and commercial settings
- Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs under the guidance of a licensed electrician
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on electrical systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in electrical work
- Basic knowledge of residential and commercial electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Understanding of electrical principles and concepts
- Proficiency in using power tools for electrical installations
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Familiarity with high voltage and low voltage systems
