Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Industrial HVAC Technician located in Houston, TX. The Industrial HVAC Technician will be responsible for:
- Troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, EPA compliance, and working with electricity.
- Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions, inspect and replace parts, and ensure proper system operations.
- Position may require working up to 15% (no more than 300 hours) overtime throughout the year, as directed by the client and/or upper management.
- Comply with company and industry safety standards.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience in the commercial or industrial HVAC industry
- Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills
- EPA certification and knowledge of EPA regulations
- Experience working with electricity in HVAC systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Relevant technical certifications or trade school education
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational/Technical school training or apprenticeship, preferred
