Position Overview:
The Sales Manager will oversee all personnel and activity of the Sales department of the company. They will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team to achieve revenue targets and grow our market share. This role involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
What you’ll do:
- Establish department goals in collaboration with the General Manager and Senior Leadership
- Provide regular reports on projected revenue, departmental challenges, and growth.
- Effectively plan, prioritize, and delegate work tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Drive Process, Work Methods, and Technology use requirements for the sales team.
- Ensure Pricing and Margin requirements are met by sales personnel.
- Assist Human Resources in the hiring process to meet departmental staffing needs.
- Analyze and report on data, statistics, and KPIs relevant to the Sales department.
- Address Individual performance matters and training needs in accordance with company policies.
- Develop and manage customer engagement standards for Sales team members.
- Facilitate team meetings, training sessions, and huddles.
- Oversee communications with sales representatives regarding invoicing and techniques to ensure accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What does it take?
- Minimum of 7 years of Sales experience
- Prior experience with HVAC installations, strongly preferred
- At least 3 years as a Sales Manager, preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, Associates degree in business or related field preferred
- Familiarity with Service Titan, preferred
