HVAC Design and Service Technician

We are searching for a hardworking team player eager to learn and grow. Our HVAC Design and Installers assist in detailing and ordering duct work and duct fittings to facilitate the change out/upgrade of air handlers, HVAC equipment, roof top equipment including commercial kitchen hood exhaust and general building exhaust systems.
HVAC Design and Service Technician Pay and Benefits:
- $30 - $35 per hour, based on experience

HVAC Design and Service Technician Requirements:
- Positive and professional attitude
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in commercial HVAC installation
- Strong understanding and experience working with current mechanical codes, mechanical equipment retrofits, air distribution, AC grille/diffuser change outs/ additions and alterations
- Ability to measure, detail and order duct work and duct fittings to facilitate the change out/upgrade of air handlers, roof top equipment including commercial kitchen hood exhaust and general building exhaust systems
- Ability to complete basic sheet metal lay out and fabrication
- Knowledge of Venting of all gas equipment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize a variety of different projects
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to travel in and out of state along with occasional overnight work
- A valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of Commercial hoods systems a plus
Physical requirements:
- Ability to operate telephone and computer systems
- Ability to adapt quickly to perform duties in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must have good physical dexterity. Position will reach, kneel, stoop, bend, and rotate trunk.
- Must have good manual dexterity. Position will use common hand and power tools.
- Must be able to travel and negotiate the job site.
HVAC Design and Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Detailing and ordering duct work and duct fittings to facilitate the change out/upgrade of air handlers, HVAC equipment, roof top equipment including commercial kitchen hood exhaust and general building exhaust systems
- Working with a team and independently to maintain all aspects of the restaurant equipment
- Assists in cleaning, servicing and rewiring HVAC/refrigeration units, stoves, ovens, grills, and other equipment
- Provides input as to manufacturing methods and design to reduce cost, improve serviceability and useful life of equipment
- Interacts with construction/maintenance teams for projects in progress
