Responsibilities:
o Grow Sales of troubleshooting services, repair, system upgrades, and emergency services for motors, controls, pumps, pump systems, ventilation systems, and industrial fans, with a specific focus on electrical service and repair opportunities.
o Maintain and develop relationships with customers, providing ongoing sales support and handling service issues related to electrical systems and components.
o Prospect local businesses, new Construction Projects, and our own list of Transformational Customers for electrical service and repair opportunities.
o Follow up on incoming sales leads and inquiries for Pump System Service, Maintenance, and repair, including electrical troubleshooting and repair needs.
o Conduct business-to-business cold calling for specifically targeted end-users requiring electrical services and repairs.
o Recommend products and services, including electrical solutions, to existing and potential customers pursuant to recommendations from our Engineering, Estimating, and pump repair departments.
o Develop a strong knowledge of the products and services offered by PumpMan, with an emphasis on electrical service and repair solutions, as well as our strategy and philosophies necessary for long-term growth.
o Assist in the training, coaching, and development of others in the Sales Team(s) as needed, particularly in areas related to electrical service and repair.
o Ensure no sales inquiries go unanswered, and customer satisfaction remains the top priority, especially for electrical service and repair requests.
o Expand our geographic coverage and market segment penetration with a relentless spirit and willingness to go the extra mile on the marketing front, including electrical service and repair sectors.
o Develop a firm knowledge of the PumpMan strategy and philosophy for long-term growth, with a focus on electrical service and repair market trends.
Qualifications and Skills:
o Previous experience in industrial services covering controls, electrical, pump, motor, HVAC systems, and ventilation systems.
o Familiarity with job estimating and troubleshooting techniques, specifically for electrical systems.
o Proven interpersonal skills and a history of successful performance in a team environment as well as working independently.
o Highly responsive to customer requests, responding promptly to queries and timelines, especially for electrical service and repair needs.
o Strong interest in successful customer interaction in a sales/customer-facing role, particularly for electrical services.
o Commercially astute and able to understand sales strategy.
o Must be flexible in dealing quickly with conflicting priorities; being a team player, willing to give additional effort when required to meet customer-based deadlines.
o Prepared to be “hands-on” and eager to learn and develop professionally.
o Neat and professional appearance and demeanor.
o Experience in the PhMetro Area calling on building engineers, maintenance managers, and property owners of commercial office buildings, industrial buildings, office parks, hospitals, universities, and city and state buildings
