RSC Mechanical is in search of a dynamic and adaptable Fleet Manager to lead our fleet operations for HVAC Refrigeration Service Technicians. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience and a proactive mindset to ensure comprehensive oversight of our fleet. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Procure, maintain, repair, and dispose of fleet vehicles, ensuring reliability and safety.
Ensure all fleet operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Implement and monitor safety programs and driver training to reduce risks and liabilities.
Develop and implement fleet management strategies aligned with company goals.
Develop and manage the fleet budget, including purchasing, fuel management, and maintenance expenses.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Negotiate and manage contracts with vehicle manufacturers, maintenance providers, insurance. companies, and other vendors. Ensure service levels are met and costs are controlled.
Utilize fleet management software to track vehicle performance and maintenance schedules.
Develop and implement fleet management strategies that support the company's goals and objectives.
Stay informed of industry trends and advancements in fleet technology.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Document company safety protocols, accidents, and related incidents.
Maintain a database of truck and driver information.
Maintain vehicle registration and insurance records.
Keep an open communication with the Company Executive Management Team regarding all safety-related matters, including accidents, incidents, and near misses.
Ensure timely reporting of accidents to insurance providers and handle claims efficiently.
Vehicle Maintenance.
Maintain a safe, neat, and organized work area and file system.
Assist senior management with all projects that need assistance.
Maintain GPS (GeoTab) Database.
Maintain proper use of Fuel Cards and using them.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or similar role, with a thorough understanding of fleet operations and maintenance.
Demonstrated experience managing inventory
Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Proven office and administrative experience, project coordination.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
General computing skills, organizational skills, and analytical skills.
Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
Ability to analyze data and implement cost-saving measures.
Effective communication skills.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with potential for mandatory overtime during peak seasons.
Weekend on call for emergency fleets escalations.
