Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, with a focus on installation, maintenance, and repair and able to teach those skills to high school students. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all students learn the Construction and/or HVAC curriculum and are able to successfully earn a certification designated by Texas Education Agency.
Responsibilities
- Create weekly lesson plans that align with state curriculum for Construction and/or HVACs courses
-Abide by all rules and policies withing Houston Independent School District
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or HVAC Related Field and/or 3 years of Industry Experience
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and other professionals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
