Our client is seeking a dedicated Building Operations Technician to join our team, covering a prestigious commercial contract in the Washington DC area. Across our business units, the account delivers cybersecurity and intelligence solutions for government agencies, commercial businesses, and organizations.
The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency requirements, and company directives related to building operations and workplace safety. They will also need experience with AHU maintenance, HVAC PM's, understanding of Crac Units and overall general facilities maintenance - Plumbing & minor electrical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repairs, and related grounds for assigned building(s).
- Inspect building HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure equipment operates within design capabilities and meets prescribed environmental conditions.
- Perform assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance tasks. Complete maintenance and repair records as required.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
- Review historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Operate company vehicles safely and follow prescribed routines to service locations in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
