Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC technician to join our team. As a technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems in commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction HVAC and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems.
- Inspect HVAC systems and identify issues or potential problems
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure HVAC systems meet building codes and regulations
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of HVAC systems
Experience:
- Proven experience as a technician in commercial settings
- Strong knowledge of construction HVAC techniques and materials
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized HVAC equipment
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
Skills:
- Blueprint reading
- Commercial driving (preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge
- Basic math skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
