Mission Restaurant Supply is currently looking for experienced Service Technicians to join our team in our Austin TX. location. Qualified candidates must have knowledge of commercial refrigeration and food service equipment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Diagnose and repair refrigeration systems, ice makers, walk-in cooler/freezers and reach in cooler/freezers. Company service truck is provided.
· Provide good customer service.
· Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
· Knowledge of commercial refrigeration and food service equipment; ice machines, walk-in coolers and freezers
· Ability to troubleshoot refrigeration and mechanical issues on commercial food service equipment
· EPA certified
· State registered or certified *TDLR* or state licensed
· 2-3 years of experience in Refrigeration
· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
· Ability to climb 24’ extension ladder
· Ability to lift 50lbs.
· Good customer service skills
· Have your own tools of the trade. **Vacuum pump, torch set, scale and recovery unit provided by company**
Preferred Skills:
· Brazing, welding copper pipe
· Understanding wiring diagrams
· Able to use a tablet for billing our service tickets
Education:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
