We offer 24 locations in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Garrett County and Harford Counties and Baltimore City.
Catholic Charities of Baltimore, Senior Communities is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who oversees and maintains assigned facility(s) of 91-175 units and may supervise as many as 3-4 maintenance/housekeeping staff. The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides day to day on the job coaching to all maintenance/housekeeping staff
- Monitors staff attendance logs for compliance with policy requirements, documents variances in writing and
notifies the Housing Manager of problems as they occur.
- Determines work priorities and extent of repairs or corrective measures needed.
- Provides direction on routine building projects and completes maintenance requests as needed.
- Attends and participates in meetings and internal and external training sessions as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- 5 years’ experience in maintenance operations including general building maintenance, general carpentry, electrical systems and plumbing.
- Driving (Agency and/or personal vehicle) is required for this position. Driver must be at least 21 years of age, with a
minimum of 2 years of driving experience, and a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence. There can be no state issued restrictions on the licenses that would impede driver’s ability to operate the vehicle as required by the Agency, and there must not be more than three (3) points on their driving record.
- Knowledge of HVACR required.
- Must have the ability to direct the work of others; work independently; interact effectively with culturally
diverse populations.
- Follow federal, state and local regulations and internal procedures.
- Lifting up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
