MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Continue to learn and teach others the HVACR trade through on the job and formal training.
Teach and Perform the following as needed or directed by management: Install or service residential HVAC systems. Regularly assigned residential heating and cooling preventative maintenance inspections. Conduct all CHA Services in a timely and professional manner with the highest standards of quality and customer service. Must be able to install, service and maintain duct work, air conditioners, heat pumps, gas furnaces, water heaters, compressors, heat exchangers, coils, outdoor units, humidifiers, condensate pumps, electronic air cleaners, etc. with minimal supervision. Able to troubleshoot, repair and/or replace, such as: motors, contactors, transformers and thermostats. Run "on call" duty in assigned rotation. Train less experienced technicians at management's direction. Must be well versed in promoting the many services that we offer to our customers.

■ Have the list of tools (attached) for this level.
■ Extensive knowledge of the refrigeration cycle.
■ Attend training workshops and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
■ Maintain good oral and written communication skills.
■ Work within the guidelines of the company policy manual and safety procedure.
■ Provide, promote and teach excellent customer service; both external and internal.
■ Operate and train others on Software, Smartphone and Tablet to maintain impeccable communication with the office and customers .
■ Be able to offer and explain all the benefits of a CHA Preferred Service Agreement (PSA)
■ Be able to use the Flat Rate Pricing, Estimating and invoicing software.
■ Be responsible for the company vehicles, Keep vehicles clean & organized.
■ Keep dispatchers advised at all times as to status and any delays or changes.
■ Collect any and all monies due Clarksville Heating & Air and turn in with proper paperwork completed and on time.
■ Be able to perform maintenance on all residential gas furnaces/boilers and water heaters.
■ Be able to perform maintenance on all residential air-conditioning and heat pumps up to 10 tons.
■ Be able to perform maintenance on all residential humidifiers, air cleaners and all other accessories.
■ Must be able to troubleshoot, and replace, such as motors, contactors, transformers, etc.
■ Inform the office of any future work needed and document clearly on invoice.
■ Willingness to accept special projects.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead co-workers in the HVAC Department. Is responsible for working with management in shaping the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the HVAC Operations. Responsibilities include involvement in interviewing, hiring, and training co-workers; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and supporting co-workers; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Must maintain a minimum 99% attendance, excluding vacation and holidays. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Work in a clean, orderly manner and clean up job site upon completion. Must show a positive attitude at all times. Willing to work the necessary hours to get the job done. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Current Local Driver's Licenses with current DMV report.
Have CFC certification type 2.
Have MD HVACR JOURNEYMAN LICENSE
Have MD PLUMBING/GAS FITTERS JOURNEYMAN LICENSE

For step change, must pass test for level Tech 1 , obtain copy of driving record, and have required tools.
Will be based on attendance, attitude, willingness to learn, training, working with others, quality of work and work habits. Call back ratio must be 5% or less. Satisfaction ratio must be 95% or better. Must be able to run effective maintenance in an average of 45 minutes per system.
