HVAC Service Technician:

About the Position
Our team is made up of top performers that are highly compensated, typically earning up to $120,000 or more, by serving some of the best customers and most recognized and industry leading brands in the market.

We are looking for Technicians to visit our customers in their homes and to consult with them to help identify the solutions that will fit the needs in their home and family.
Required Qualifications:
● MD HVACR Journey License
● MD Gas Fitter Journey License
● NATE Certified with multiple specialty certification
● Advanced understanding of layout, design, fabrication and installation
● Advanced at residential and light commercial maintenance, diagnostic, repair and installations
● Advanced Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings.
● Advanced fabrication knowledge of sheet metal fittings
● Full understanding of Infinity thermostat set up and operation
● Have required tools for current level
● Ability to explain features and operation of the new equipment to the customer including thermostat operation and system accessories
● Size and draw duct work correctly. Start up and troubleshoot furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps and condensing units.
● Good understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, wiring diagrams
● Excellent customer relations skills and an open mind to think outside of the box
● Enroll in extra training to further knowledge of the HVAC industry and management, 24 hour required
● Ability to train Level 1 to Level 3 personnel
● BPI Certification and Advanced knowledge of Home Performance
Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly Duties:
● Safely operate company vehicle daily
● Follow instructions from the supervisor and carry out in a timely manner.
● Supervise and be responsible for other technicians on the job site.
● Report problems with company tools or vehicles promptly.
● Work well with customers, co-workers and subcontractors
● Work staggered schedule if required.
● Run and work a job from start to finish
● Explain operation of equipment to customer
● Ensure complete customer satisfaction and/or supervisor/salesperson sign-off upon completion of work.
● Follow defined Service Procedures
● Successfully explain and offer the services and products offered by the company for customers
● Utilize ST Estimates giving “GOOD, BETTER, BEST” options on each call.
● Start up new equipment and verify correct operation of the system.
● Clean equipment/work area
● Review next day jobs with supervisor/salesperson, identify any needed tools, materials, equipment, fabrications.
● Maintain professional relationships with subcontractors. Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times.
● Run a job without supervision
● Complete jobs within the labor budget
● Complete all necessary paperwork, job packets, change orders, time cards
● Train entry level employees
● 40 hours of job related training annually
● Other duties as assigned
● Accurately diagnose and complete repairs on the 1st visit.
● Maintain complete truck stock.

● Lifting/carrying up to 100 pounds such as ladders, air compressors, pumps, or other equipment with assistance
● Subject to climbing stairs, ladders and scaffolds, and working in heights above 30 feet
● Subject to standing or walking for long periods of time
● Some lifting, overhead lifting, and physical exertion required
● Work with sheet metal and sharp objects
● Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
● Work may involve moderate to heavy work in all types of weather and varying temperatures
● May work outside, in crawl spaces, basements, and attics

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
