Responsibilities and Requirements :
The HVAC Service Technician shall be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostic testing, installation and repairs on a variety of HVAC systems including Gas fired heating, hot water systems, air conditioning systems and heat pumps to name a few. Additionally the qualified individual should also be willing to assist and learn all aspects of equipment installation across the D.E. Duffey range of product offerings. The technician shall:
- Maintain outstanding customer service at all times
- Ensure the consistency and quality of each task performed
- Perform HVAC service calls and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment
- Perform all aspects of HVAC equipment repairs by using various types of testing equipment
- Be responsible for the cleanliness of the area where work is performed
- Clearly communicate details of the service call to each customer
- Neatly and completely fill out service paperwork
- Other duties as assigned
