Job Summary
Acosta Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking an individual to perform quality control for HVAC installations. Please note this role requires 2 yrs of field experience and/or equivalent formal HVAC training.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Helping to ensure customer satisfaction to all our installations
- Meeting county inspectors on job sites to ensure all code requirements are met
- Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary and report any mechanical issues. Vehicles should be washed on a regular basis
- Help maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle
- Document all installed equipment: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary
- Calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendation, comply with local mechanical & electrical codes
- Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry
- Complete warranty related repairs as necessary
Skills
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to learn read and interpret electrical diagrams, plans and manuals. HVAC systems can be precise mechanisms. Careful observation is needed
- Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations
- Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time
Other Requirements
- Well groomed, neat appearance
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Valid social security number
- Must be able to pass drug test(s) as required by company
- Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small crawl spaces
- Observe all company procedures and safety rules
- Maintain accurate time records and send to payroll when required
- Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction
- EPA certification required or MUST be attained within first 30 days of employment

Pay: $17.00 - $25.79 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
