Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your expertise in appliance repair, plumbing, welding, and refrigeration will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation of HVAC equipment.
Duties:
- Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Inspect and perform maintenance on existing HVAC systems
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC equipment
- Perform routine cleaning and servicing of HVAC units
- Test HVAC systems for proper functioning
- Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC systems
- Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex issues
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Proficiency in appliance repair, plumbing, welding, and refrigeration
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants (Type I and II)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
