Job description:
Grow as a full-time residential HVAC installer with the best HVAC Company on the Westside of Cleveland. Your primary objective is to efficiently and effectively make our customer’s lives comfortable by replacing their heating / air conditioning systems to include accessories. You must have a clean background as well as driving record.
Job responsibilities:
Install boilers, furnaces, air handlers, indoor coils, air conditioners, heat pumps, thermal expansion valves, humidifiers, UV lights and air cleaners.
Fabricate and install ductwork to include transitions.
Braze, pressure test, pull vacuums, purge and open valves.
Land wiring to indoor/outdoor equipment as well as accessories and thermostats.
Program thermostats.
Demonstrate listening, written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Gathering customer information and entering it into computer software
Interacting with customers as well as Installation Manager, Service Manager, Project Managers, Office Manager, technicians and parts coordinator to facilitate meeting the Customer’s needs
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (advanced skills taught on-job):
Have some knowledge of:
Installation of Condenser Units
Brazing
Low- and High-Voltage Wiring
Gas Reconnect
Installation of Flues
Skills:
Possess Mechanical aptitude
EPA Certification (not required at hiring)
Clean background and driving record
Ability to operate power and hand tools safely
Must be customer centric
Must have ability to work under pressure with self-control and composure
Great people skills with an ability to work with many different personalities and nationalities
Ability to learn quickly
Strong verbal and written communication skills
