Refrigeration Start-Up Technicians Will Have the Opportunity To:
- Complete startup checklists and commissioning equipment for industrial equipment (screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, evaporative condensers, evaporators, pumps and air handling units)
- Apply your expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment during startup; developing pump down and tie-in plans; redlining as-built drawings,
- Use your skills with piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), equipment schedules and layout drawings; managing ARM/PSM documentation; performing mechanical integrity inspections; reviewing construction drawing for constructability and serviceability.
- Work with a highly engaged Refrigeration Team that provides you with knowledge and support to be a highly effective HVAC/R Refrigeration Start-Up Technician Professional
HVAC/R Start-Up Technicians Duties and Responsibilities:
· Diagnose and troubleshooting equipment issues
· Complete startup checklists
· Commission industrial equipment
· Interpret construction drawings and specifications
· Operate a variety of hand and power tools, welding torches, vacuum pump, test
equipment utilized in the trade.
· Maintain effective and safe working conditions, maintain parts and tool inventory.
HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred. Trade School Diploma or Community College Program Certificates is a plus.
- Minimum 3–4-years as a Start-Up Technician or Service Technician
- Theory of Refrigeration systems.
- Materials, methods and tools used in the construction and operation of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, ordinances and regulations of State and local authorities pertaining to HVAC and Refrigeration.
- Welding and soldering techniques.
- Must have a Universal EPA
Competitive Salary Based on Experience and knowledge of the trade.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
