We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who can apply their knowledge about the mechanical and or plumbing trades to our company workflows and contracts. This candidate will be a leader to project managers, coordinators, prefabricators, and estimators for their respective projects. They will work with all to verify the design and constructability of the systems; highlight any issues and work with the design team and construction management teams to preemptively correct problems and resolve any issues. This/these individual(s) will be responsible for managing the progress, accuracy, and execution of the company’s work within the contract scope, dollar amount and agreed-upon schedule.
They will oversee the coordination, fabrication, and field installation processes for their projects. They will work to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations; analyze, manage, and mitigate risks on all aspects of the project and ensure quality construction standards throughout the duration of the project. They will build strong client relationships and will share their industry experience and knowledge with all project team members at P.J. Dionne Company to help usher in the next great generation of workers and leaders.
Experience and Qualifications
- Years of Experience 8+
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related work experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Technical aptitude with an ability to read, interpret and utilize product manuals, schematics, control circuits etc.
- High level problem-solving knowledge
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Computer knowledge and proficiency
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Design, develop and enforce management Protocol & Standards w/ Project Manager and office staff
- Willingness to take on extra responsibilities when possible and be a team player
