Residential HVAC company, locally owned and operated for over 25 years, is seeking self-motivated, hardworking, experienced Service Manager.

The best candidate for the position of Service Manager will have strong technical skills, good communication skills, ability to work independently and as a team, have a good driving record and have previous experience as a manager.
The Service Manager will be responsible for a team of other service and maintenance technicians while actively working in the field. You would be expected to drive team success by working closely with the office to develop strategies and processes. Duties would include but are not limited to:
*Provide field training and coaching to maintenance and service technicians.
*Create and teach classes that include technical aspects, product training, as well as role-playing and customer service training
*Help recruit, retain, and train professional team members
*Hold team accountable for their performance (i.e. revenue, customer satisfaction, etc.).
*Work with dispatchers in office to ensure proper techs are assigned to calls
*Work with office to process invoicing and address any customer needs
*Oversee truck inventory and coordinate scheduled inventories
*Work with office to manage customer complaints
*Conduct technician reviews. Complete tech site visits and one on one time with technicians in the field.
*Service manager should be able to work on rooftops, in attics and crawl spaces in all seasons of the year. They must be able to carry/lift at least 75 pounds.
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
*Three years of field experience
*Journeyman license
*EPA HCFC Certified
*Clean driving record
*Ability to adapt to change
*Willingness to teach and learn
*Possession of and ability to operate and train operation of trade hand tools
*Good verbal and written communication skills
*Great time management skills
*Ability to work independently and as a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
