Responsibilities
A Day in the Life of a Leasing Manager:
As the Liberty Military Housing Leasing Manager, you are responsible for assisting the Regional Housing Director closely in leading a team in efforts of providing customer service for all prospective and current residents within a multi-family residential community. Your role includes monitoring the housing waitlists and assigning quality homes to future and current residents and also requires effective customer service skills, the ability to work efficiently and effectively and deliver on our mission of providing exemplary service according to Liberty Military Housing’s quality service and customer satisfaction standards.
Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Manage the referral waitlist for future and current residents.
- Assists prospective residents with information regarding homes within the community.
- Prepares documents for residents as part of the move in process.
- Ensures all lease paperwork is completed and entered into the system and forward to the assigned housing community.
- Assist residents with housing questions regarding the move-in process and Basic Allowance for Housing.
- Prepare daily reports for projected availability (i.e. move-in / move-outs, waterfall, promotions, etc.).
- Run reconciliation reports for discrepancies and adjust ledgers.
- Works in conjunction with Government Housing and future residents to ensure information on housing applications is accurate.
- Collaborate closely with government partner on complex challenges for current and advanced assignment families.
- Responsible for ensuing services rendered to residents have been completed according to LMH standards and meet resident’s satisfaction.
- Promotes positive resident relations by ensuring resident concerns and requests are responded to on a timely basis to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Assists Regional Housing Director closely with other general office duties, special projects and assignments as needed.
- Performs various administrative and computer tasks, lease audits, email communications, input of information / data into various software and information systems (Yardi, and other company-related systems.)
- Participate in and attend various department or regional meetings, resident or community events, seminars, and other work-related events.
- Possess an ability to lead a team in the overall functionality of the job duties.
- Assists Regional Housing Director closely with marketing strategies, presentations and meetings pertaining to the overall sustainability of occupancy at a regional level.
- Possesses product knowledge at a regional level.
- Performs various administrative functions to accurately determine daily occupancy and move in trends.
- Works as a support for the leaders at the district office level in order to provide a high level of customer service.
- Works closely in communication with the government housing office on communications pertaining to our families and trends of the market.
- Assists Regional Housing Director closely with creating schedules for the team to best reflect the needs of the business.
- Has a proficient knowledge of the current market and competitor companies of the area and communicate trends accordingly while maintaining above budgeted occupancy.
- Assists in the monitoring of the overall performance of team member’s ability to manage the referral waitlist for future and current residents.
- Responsible for managing the district inter-site transfer process.
Qualifications
What You Need for Success:
- Position requires 6 months+ of residential property management or customer service role preferred.
- Proficiency in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, email correspondence, math, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and other software applications preferred (i.e. Yardi).
- Effective communication and interaction with customers, management, co-workers, sufficient to exchange or convey information and to give and receive work direction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize and complete assigned duties to ensure operational objectives are achieved.
- Must possess a positive and professional demeanour in all interactions, under all circumstances.
- Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings and other work-related activities.
- May require use of personal or company vehicle.

Pay Range is $39,100 - $53,244 Annually
