Job Description:
Hydro Service & Supplies, Inc. is seeking an experienced plumber to work with our engineering staff in producing custom water purification equipment (Skids). All work will be performed in our shop, located in Durham, NC. You will be responsible for mounting equipment (pumps, flow meters, ultraviolet sterilizers, ect.) to metal frames and installing all interconnecting plumbing including all necessary supports and hardware. This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday with overtime during peak demands.
Responsibilities:
- You will join our Production team at our Durham, NC Facility.
- Install plumbing as per drawings
- Mount Equipment and hardware to metal frames (Skids) as needed
- We will provide training as needed on the different pipe materials and joining methods we use for water purification: Primarily PVC, PP, PVDF, and SS pipe materials and Glued, Socket fusion, BCF, and Orbital Welded joining methods.
- Reports to Production Manager.
Experience and Qualification Requirements:
- Must have Plumbing experience (License NOT required)
- You should be mechanically inclined and good with tools.
- Experience in Orbital welding of Stainless Steel tubing is not required
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
