We are searching for a full-time, detail-oriented Plumber Technician to join our team in our Clearwater, FL. location. In this role, the Plumber Technician is responsible for performing skilled plumbing work in the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems, equipment, fixtures, and test connections to make sure they're working properly while still ensuring to deliver 100% customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform residential and light commercial service to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues.
- Identify potential problems to prevent premature and/or unexpected breakdowns/callbacks.
- Inspect high-pressure, air, steam, water, and gas systems to ascertain malfunctions.
- Perform cutting, welding, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures.
- Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
- Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, tests joints and pipe systems.
- Explain to customers each service performed each time a maintenance or repair is completed and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates and provide pricing to the customer for approval prior to performing any work.
- Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites.
- Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep to customers.
- Interpret drawings and specifications to determine layout requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and time management.
- Submit all complete paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
- Abide by all company standards of performance and code of ethics.
- Maintain a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift or move heavy products.
- Ability to operate powered equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
