HVAC Technician

Responsibilities

Install, maintain and repair HVAC/Refrigeration systems. Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical and electrical components of these systems.
Install, maintain and repair lighting, electrical outlets and circuit breakers.
Install, maintain and repair major plumbing (water heaters, boilers, etc.)
Install, maintain and repair sound systems, A/V equipment and voice and data systems.
Set-up of A/V equipment and /or lighting for events
Maintain and repair commercial kitchen equipment and appliances
Maintain proper stock, parts, tools and safety equipment

Requirements

Training and knowledge of HVAC/Refrigeration installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting and correcting diverse HVAC/R service issues
Training and knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting and correcting diverse electrical service issues
Ability to bend, cut and install conduit
Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals
Excellent customer service skills with a desire to exceed customer expectations
Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time
Minimum 5 years prior experience

Other Requirements

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Have a Universal EPA Refrigeration Certificate
Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with assistance or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights; work in small crawl spaces

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
