Job Summary:
Set up, operate and troubleshoot CNC press brakes to manufacture sheet metal parts.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Ability to read blueprints/shop drawings accurately.
- Understanding of Cartesian coordinates.
- Know how to measure with calipers and micrometers.
- Previous experience using press brakes. Preferable Trumpf press brakes.
- Ability to hold close tolerances to meet quality standards/requirements.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience of operating press brakes.
- Past experience with general sheet metal work; familiar with metal types, thickness, gauges, forming characteristics, material strength.
- Competent in reading blueprints/shop drawing and understanding sequencing of bends to form parts per print.
- Must be a US Citizen due to DoD work we do in our shop.
- Ability to pass Background check and drug screening.

Union Details:
We are a union company, Sheet Metal Workers Local 24, and anyone hired will be expected to join the Union as a “Classified” worker. Employer will pay the first 2 months of union dues and initiation fees.
