Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. If you have a strong background in construction plumbing, pipe threading, and are proficient in reading blueprints, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with relevant codes and standards
- Read and interpret blueprints to assess plumbing layouts
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters
- Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and perform repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and other professionals on projects
- Weld and solder pipes as needed
- Use hand tools to cut, bend, and assemble pipes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role
- Ability to build and weld pipes
- Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of remodeling processes
- Familiarity with hand tools used in plumbing work
- Strong understanding of construction plumbing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Carpentry skills are a plus
