The Kitchen Mechanic is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of all commercial kitchen appliances, including but not limited to walk in coolers, walk in freezers, ice machines, dish machines, ovens, stoves, and hoods/exhaust fans. Individual must possess a strong background and knowledge of such equipment as they will be overseeing all repairs and preventative maintenance. Additional responsibilities include accurately troubleshooting and diagnosing problems, replacing filters, and servicing water service stations. This role is may also be responsible for electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Previous kitchen mechanic experience is required, preferrably in a commercial or hotel environment.

Skills and knowledge required
- Takes pride in a great job done
- At least 4 years as a Kitchen technician in the hospitality or service industry.
- Previous experience with hot and cold kitchen equipment
- EAP Certification
- Excellent service orientation and attention to detail
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others
- Able to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight
- Able to walk and stand throughout duration of shift
- Flexible availability as needed, including willingness to work evenings, overnight and days as well as weekends and holidays
