Hay's Heating & Air has been serving the Durham area for over 25 years, is seeking a talented and motivated HVAC installer to join our growing team of installation professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience with HVAC installation in residential properties, will be able to work independently and on a self-directed schedule, and will posses strong communication skills. Anyone interested in becoming an HVAC Installer for our company should have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. We will train the right candidate as well.
Position Duties / Tasks:
- Install all types of hvac equipment: heat pumps, package units, straight AC and mini-splits.
- Effectively communicate with customer - By asking / answering questions and making recommendations for replacement options for aging and inefficient systems
- Keep truck inventory stocked and organized
Position Requirements:
- 5 or more years field experience as an HVAC installer
- Tools for the Trade
- Knowledge of North Carolina Mechanical and Electrical Codes
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Well organized and ability to work independently
- Valid Driver License
