Our specialized construction focuses on designing and building car washes across Colorado’s front range and we are looking to grow our team with a Journeyman Plumber.
The Position:
We are looking for a Journeyman Plumber with 2-5+ years of experience in commercial plumbing to self-perform our car wash plumbing projects. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and capable of being a key productive team member, while being detail-oriented, organized and able to prioritize and effectively serve multiple projects simultaneously. This individual will seek to build long-term relationships through clear communication with other members of the team. With our increasing project pipeline, we are looking for someone who has an excellent work ethic, aligns with company values, and desires a trajectory for growth.
Requirements:
● Holds a Journeyman Plumbing License in the state of Colorado
● 2-5+ years commercial plumbing experience
● Fluent in plan reading and interpretation of drawings
● Underground experience
● Competent with Soldering
● Competent with Gas Pipe
● Sleeve and Blockout Experience
● Professional, self-starter, excellent communicator, and capable of making independent decisions
● Strong interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
● Coordinate, observe, and manage the team of plumbers so they perform their work in a quality manner consistent and compliant with the applicable plans, specifications, industry standards, codes and contract requirements
● Understand and follow a schedule set by the Project Manager
● Document plan changes and provide red-line corrections to the office at appropriate intervals for updating plans and estimate a change order to be delivered to the office manager for processing
● Place material orders and follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery
● Foster and maintain positive relationships with all parties involved
● Maintain project safety, cleanliness, and appearance at all times
● Available to step in to meet deadlines and assist with other tasks as necessary
● Follow the project through to completion
Compensation:
● Competitive salary ranging from $65,000-$75,000 per year, based on experience.
