Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC residential new construction supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have ten or more years of experience in sizing ductwork, designing residential HVAC systems, and leading teams in the installation and maintenance of HVAC systems in new construction residential settings.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that installations are completed efficiently, safely, and according to industry standards. You will manage a team of installation technicians, coordinate schedules, and communicate with clients to ensure a seamless installation experience.
Duties
Team Management:
- Supervise and lead a team of HVAC installation technicians.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on skill level and workload.
- Provide training and guidance to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with sales representatives, project managers, and clients to schedule installations and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Review project plans and specifications to determine resource requirements and logistical considerations.
- Procure necessary materials, equipment, and tools for installations.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays as they arise.
- Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and provide effective solutions to ensure timely completion of projects.
Ductwork Sizing and Design:
- Utilize extensive experience to accurately size ductwork and design HVAC systems for residential properties, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct on-site inspections to verify that installations meet quality standards and comply with building codes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot technical problems and provide solutions to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.
- Implement best practices and quality control measures to minimize errors and rework.
Customer Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the installation process.
- Communicate with clients to address any questions or concerns and provide updates on project status.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and resolving any issues promptly.
Safety Compliance:
- Enforce safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries during installations.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for installation team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to minimize hazards and risks
Materials Management:
- Manage inventory and procurement of materials, tools, and equipment required for HVAC installations and maintenance.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on relevant building codes, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and safety on all projects.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inspection reports.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to residential HVAC installation, and identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement
Requirements:
- Drivers License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience: Minimum of ten years of experience in residential HVAC installation, with a proven track record of managing installation teams and coordinating projects in new construction settings.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HVAC system design software, as well as hands-on experience with HVAC installation techniques, equipment and materials with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex installation issues
- Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop team members to achieve project goals.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

- Mechanical Knowledge
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex HVAC issues. Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding HVAC system designs.
- Certifications- RMGA, EPA I & II
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,852.00 - $80,578.00 per year
