PURCHASING AGENT - FULL TIME
Full Time | Monday – Friday | Hourly
Description:
We are seeking to hire a dependable, detail oriented purchasing agent for a fast paced OEM manufacturer.
· Buying and sourcing components, tools, raw materials and low cost hardware· Planning, organizing, and multi-tasking
· Managing open orders, working with vendors, maintaining consistent deliveries
· Monitoring/managing stock levels for production and aftermarket sales
· Room for potential growth into material planning/forecasting
Skills Required:
· Humility, team-focused, integrity, flexibility, and work ethic
· Communication, problem solving, and critical thinking
· Understanding/experience with production/inventory
· Mechanical understanding of tools and machinery
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment by prioritizing and multi-tasking
· High attention to detail, completing responsibilities accurately and in a timely manner
· Understanding of HVAC applications preferred but not required
Experience Preferred:
· Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management background/experience
· Working knowledge of ERP systems
