Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. This role requires proficiency in using power tools and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Plumber will work on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Assemble and weld pipes, fittings, and fixtures as needed for plumbing installations.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues by analyzing schematics and diagnosing problems effectively.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move materials or equipment.
- Collaborate with HVAC professionals on projects requiring integrated systems.
- Conduct remodeling tasks related to plumbing systems as part of renovation projects.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations during all work performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools safely.
- Experience in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Background in carpentry or related fields is advantageous but not required.
- Valid commercial driving license may be required for certain positions or projects.
