Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team for Commercial Retail Companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems (HVAC/R). This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The HVAC Technician will work closely with clients to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Install, upgrade and/or maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems within Commercial Retail Locations.
- Perform some inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC/R equipment.
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, and fans.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure reliability.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints for system installations.
- Weld and fabricate parts as necessary for repairs or installations.
- Work with ammonia refrigeration systems when required.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Qualifications
- Reliable Transportation/Vehicle
- Proven experience in HVAC/R installation and repair. (3-5 years minimum)
- Knowledge of appliance repair techniques related to HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficient in welding techniques applicable to HVAC repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC technology are preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Nights as needed
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
