Job Overview:
We are seeking Wiring Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical and electronic systems, circuits, and equipment. This is ideal for candidates with 2-3 years of experience in a related field.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, repairs, installations, modifications, and maintenance of electrical/electronic systems and circuits.
- Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to complete assigned tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with electrical systems.
- Handle and lift weights exceeding 30 lbs. with significant repetition.
- Work under immediate supervision, reporting directly to a supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-2 years of experience in wiring, electrical, or related fields.
- Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in the specialty area is a plus.
- Familiarity with commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
- Ability to work in environments with substantial machine, chemical, biological, or physical risks.
Special Considerations:
- Candidates should be prepared for physical work, including lifting weights exceeding 30 lbs.
- Exposure to machine and chemical environments is expected.
