The General Maintenance Journeyman candidate must have experience in a manufacturing environment repairing and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment. You will be trained on the repair of all related equipment, preventive maintenance, as well as building maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintains machine tools in a satisfactory condition and at tolerances set forth by the original manufacturer.
- Makes mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs to machine tools and various pieces of equipment.
- Makes repairs to pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Rebuild pumps, cylinders, various valves.
- Installs, adjusts and observes for the proper operation of bearings of all types while making use of and observing the recommended shaft, housing fits, the bearing application and loading.
- Performs, plumbing, HVAC and other miscellaneous repair work when required.
- Works with maintenance manager for on-the-job training.
- Fills in work request tickets with necessary information.
- Experience with basic computer systems.

Preferred Experience:
- One or more years of hands-on maintenance experience.
