Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
- Install and connect HVAC components such as compressors, motors, condensers, and evaporators
- Follow blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate installation
- Test HVAC systems for proper functioning and make necessary adjustments
- Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns or questions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC/R systems
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
- Ability to drive a van for transportation of equipment and tools
- Knowledge of appliance repair and field service is beneficial
- Ability to boil, weld, and perform other necessary tasks for installation and maintenance
