Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to service and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires hands-on experience with various HVAC equipment and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients. Ability to "hit the ground running" is highly preferred.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and boilers. Troubleshooting industrial roof top HVAC systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using tools such as Ohmmeters and welding equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to build and maintain efficient HVAC systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their HVAC needs and solutions.
- Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on systems for record-keeping purposes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in HVAC maintenance and repair.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in commercial and industrial property maintenance or appliance repair.
- EPA Certification AND 5+ years field experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment related to HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with air conditioning units, boilers, and other heating/cooling appliances.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is mandatory.
