Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction plumbing and a strong mechanical aptitude. This role involves working on various plumbing projects, ensuring all installations and repairs meet industry standards. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing piping systems in both residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
- Execute pipe threading and assembly with precision to ensure leak-free connections.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians to integrate plumbing systems with heating and cooling units.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
- Drive commercial vehicles as needed to transport tools and materials to job sites.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems is essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to the plumbing trade.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and pipe fitting.
- Experience with pipe threading techniques is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for commercial driving responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Must have valid Drivers license.
