Job Summary - Electrician
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, particularly in commercial settings. This role involves working with various electrical components, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), and contributing to the successful completion of electrical projects. The Commercial Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities - Electrician
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
- Work with high voltage and low voltage systems, ensuring proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including frame carpenters, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or similar role is required.
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with high voltage and low voltage systems is essential.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and logic controllers effectively.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team on various projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
